Alfa MILANO 2.5 V6 and 3.0 V6


US Model Information

The Alfa 75 was known as the Milano in the United States and was available in 4 different flavours from 1987 to 1989. The cars were built on a separate production line and had US specification bumpers that looked different to the Euro ones. All cars had Bosch L-Jetronic FI, later Euro models (92 on) switched to Bosch Motronic.

Silver

  • 2.5 litre V6, 5-speed, 4.11 rear end, cloth seats, 14"steel wheels

Gold

  • Same engine & drive line as Silver, fog lights, power mirrors-both sides, cloth seats with different pattern, 14x5.5" alloy wheels

Platinum

  • Same engine and transmission as Silver in 1987, with 4.11 limited-slip rear, alloy wheels, leather seats with heating and power-adjustable backs, fog lights, powered & heated outside mirrors, plus other luxury car features
  • ATE MkII ABS system
  • 1988 and 1989 Platinums had automatic transmission with self-levelling rear shocks, instead of the 5-speed/limited slip setup.

QV (Quadrifoglio Verde)

  • 3.0 litre V6, 5-speed, 3.55 limited-slip rear, alloy wheels, fog lights, powered & heated outside mirrors, plus other luxury car features
  • ATE MkII ABS system
  • Stiffer springs & bars
  • Recaro seats, driver's side heated
  • Plastic fender flares and rocker skirts
  • 1988 models had 15x6" "phone-dial" wheels
  • 1989 models had cruise control and Euro style front grille
  • Sold as Alfa 75 America in some countries, ABS not standard equipment
