L&#8217;Ing. Gianluca Pivetti\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c3\u00a8 stato il suo progettista.<br \/>\nIl primo propulsore di questa famiglia \u00c3\u00a8 un 2.0 litri a 4 cilindri in linea con <a title=\"Turbocompressore\" href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Turbocompressore\">turbocompressore<\/a> <a class=\"new\" title=\"Twin scroll (la pagina non esiste)\" href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/w\/index.php?title=Twin_scroll&amp;action=edit&amp;redlink=1\">twin scroll<\/a>, <a title=\"Monoblocco\" href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Monoblocco\">monoblocco<\/a> e <a class=\"mw-disambig\" title=\"Testata\" href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Testata\">testata<\/a> in alluminio e dotato del sistema <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"MultiAir\" href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/MultiAir\">MultiAir<\/a> 2 costituito da un sistema di gestione delle valvole di aspirazione attraverso un comando elettroidraulico. Nel 2020 esordisce sulla Maserati Ghibli una ulteriore evoluzione del 2,0 litri Alfa Romeo con una potenza incrementata a 330 CV, dotato di una turbina di maggiori dimensioni e monoblocco e testate rinforzate per sopperire alla maggiore potenza. Altre modifiche riguardano l&#8217;adozione di un piccolo compressore elettrico che lavora fino a 3500 giri\/min (per sopperire al vuoto nei bassi regimi dovuti alla turbina di maggiori dimensioni), abbinato e alimentato da un sistema myld-hybrid da 48v. Lo stesso motore dal 2022 \u00c3\u00a8 anche sotto il cofano della Maserati Grecale ma \u00c3\u00a8 depotenziato a 300cv. Il turbocompressore a geometria variabile ad attuazione elettrica rappresenta lo stato dell\u00e2\u20ac\u2122arte della meccanica e minimizza i tempi di risposta assicurando, nello stesso tempo, vantaggi in termini d\u00e2\u20ac\u2122efficienza. Fluido, insomma. La leva di controllo \u00c3\u00a8 simile al comando di un tradizionale cambio automatico. Spostando il selettore si passa dal funzionamento automatico a quello manuale e viceversa. In modalit\u00c3\u00a0 manuale pu\u00c3\u00b2 essere comandato con i selettori al volante, senza staccare le mani dalla corona. In modalit\u00c3\u00a0 automatica, invece, sorprende la capacit\u00c3\u00a0 dell&#8217;elettronica di selezionare sempre il rapporto giusto, adeguando il funzionamento del cambio allo stile di guida.<\/p>\n<p>Dietro alla tecnologia TCT ci sono la concezione originale del cambio a doppia frizione, il sistema degli attuatori elettro-idraulici e una centralina elettronica che non \u00c3\u00a8 connessa soltanto al motore, ma anche ai dispositivi di controllo dei freni, della trazione e della stabilit\u00c3\u00a0.
