I suoi ideatori la definirono &#8220;vettura simbolo&#8221; per la sua capacit\u00c3\u00a0 rappresentativa del marchio Alfa Romeo e &#8220;vettura laboratorio&#8221; per le procedure d&#8217;avanguardia con cui era stata progettata e realizzata. Poi prese il nome definitivo, SZ, in onore della gloriosa Giulietta Sprint Zagato.<br \/>\nLa vettura &#8211; La personalit\u00c3\u00a0 eccezionale della SZ si esprime anche nel suo aspetto esteriore. I designer del Centro stile Alfa, in collaborazione con gli stilisti della Carrozzeria Zagato, hanno saputo conferire alla supersportiva italiana una carica di esuberante dinamismo e di aggressivit\u00c3\u00a0 che non manca di colpire l&#8217;attenzione di chi la osserva. La meccanica \u00c3\u00a8 derivata direttamente dalla 75 IMSA da competizione mentre la carrozzeria, in materiali compositi, \u00c3\u00a8 stata interamente concepita al computer in soli 19 mesi. Venne prodotta in soli 1000 esemplari ed \u00c3\u00a8 stata a lungo un oggetto di \u00c3\u00a9lite per il fatto di essere una vettura &#8220;numerata&#8221;, destinata solo a un&#8217;eletta schiera di alfisti privilegiati.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mitoalfaromeo.com\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/z2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2705\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mitoalfaromeo.com\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/z2.jpg\" alt=\"z2\" width=\"400\" height=\"295\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mitoalfaromeo.com\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/z2.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.mitoalfaromeo.com\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/z2-300x221.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;abitacolo &#8211; I rivestimenti interni in cuoio naturale, la pelle nera adottata per la superficie della plancia e i montanti anteriori, la raffinata moquette chiara che ricopre il pavimento e il vano bagagli, danno origine nel loro insieme a un raccolto ambiente di signorile eleganza, in linea con l&#8217;immagine elitaria della vettura. Il posto di guida trasmette la sensazione di essere davvero piloti nel senso pi\u00c3\u00b9 puro dell&#8217;espressione.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mitoalfaromeo.com\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/z3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2706\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mitoalfaromeo.com\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/z3.jpg\" alt=\"z3\" width=\"400\" height=\"234\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mitoalfaromeo.com\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/z3.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.mitoalfaromeo.com\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/z3-300x176.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A ci\u00c3\u00b2 contribuisce il volante sportivo in pelle, regolabile sia assialmente, sia in altezza e la strumentazione ben leggibile d&#8217;impostazione sportiva. Ma ancor di pi\u00c3\u00b9 contribuisce la rigorosa impostazione ergonomica dei comandi e dei sedili avvolgenti dalla quale scaturisce quello stretto vincolo uomo-macchina che si ritrova in ogni vettura da corsa. Pur conservando qualcuno degli aspetti di &#8220;ruvidezza&#8221; inevitabili in una vera auto sportiva, la SZ riserva a chi \u00c3\u00a8 a bordo piccole comodit\u00c3\u00a0 come alzacristalli elettrici, specchi esterni orientabili elettricamente, aria condizionata. Alle incomparabili sensazioni che una grande vettura sportiva riserva a pilota e passeggero, la SZ ne aggiunge una specifica, quella della eccezionale luminosit\u00c3\u00a0 dell&#8217;abitacolo, che compensa il lieve senso di &#8220;costrizione&#8221; connesso con la ri-dotta altezza del padiglione. Le impressioni di guida &#8211; Su strada colpiscono le prestazioni superlative e la fantastica capacit\u00c3\u00a0 di tenuta di strada della SZ. Il sei cilindri 3 litri Alfa da 207 CV, oltre alle partenze brucianti, permette alla SZ di disporre in ogni circostanza di una potenza esuberante che significa riprese mozzafiato e maggiore sicurezza di guida.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mitoalfaromeo.com\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/zint.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2707\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mitoalfaromeo.com\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/zint.jpg\" alt=\"zint\" width=\"500\" height=\"339\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mitoalfaromeo.com\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/zint.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.mitoalfaromeo.com\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/zint-300x203.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Oltre che capace di filare sicura nel vento (Cx 0,30), la SZ \u00c3\u00a8 anche una macchina sapien-temente equilibrata. Questa qualit\u00c3\u00a0 le deriva da caratteristiche avanzate della sua meccanica, quali la trasmissione transaxle, con il gruppo cambio-differenziale sull&#8217;assale posteriore, e l&#8217;assetto fortemente ribassato. A questo proposito, sul mobiletto centrale della SZ, spiccano due tasti dalla funzione specialissima ed esclusiva. Servono a modificare l&#8217;assetto della vettura maggiorandone l&#8217;altezza da terra per superare senza danni asperit\u00c3\u00a0 del terreno e rampe ripide. Tra i fattori che maggiormente contribui-scono a conferire alla SZ eccezionali capacit\u00c3\u00a0 di tenuta e guidabilit\u00c3\u00a0 anche alle pi\u00c3\u00b9 alte velocit\u00c3\u00a0 \u00c3\u00a8 da citare il sofisticato sistema delle sospensioni con il ponte posteriore De Dion regolabile e l&#8217;effetto deportante as-sicurato dall&#8217;alettone posteriore. Al volante della SZ prestazioni cos\u00c3\u00ac eccezionali si accompagnano a una guidabilit\u00c3\u00a0 assolutamente inaspettata.
